Mango Morning
Poetry prompt response
Putrid air, filled the morning’s gentle wind, Color is all I see, as I look out my window. From green to bright red and many shades of orange, Beautiful mangoes embellish the earth, Some are half eaten by birds, Others are rotting away.
Thank you for reading. Thank you to Lucy The Eggcademic (she/her) for tagging me. I must admit when I wrote this I believed the prompt had to do with fruits and gravity, but her prompt is ‘what food reminds you of science?’.
Perhaps the same thing 🤷♂️, as always never sure if I’m actually responding to the prompt.
Here is her piece
Tagging: Susannah MacKinnie, Rochelle Silva, and James G Brennan apologies, I think I’ve tagged you many times over — perhaps I love your writing a bit too much 😬
