People Who are Cruel AF Should be Treated in Kind

An “eye for an eye,” so says the Bible

Over the years, my overall view of humanity has taken a nose dive due to the unfortunate reality that most people aren’t worth shit.

You know it. I know it. So let’s not get into the ring over this. Just look to those who have been tasked with the gift of governing us, here in the U.S. And that is a gift, although there are some who believe it’s a license to better themselves, in a financially-specific sort of way. Who are hungry for power and will do whatever it takes to anoint themselves. Who don’t give a crap about their constituents or the Constitution or personal freedoms (like a woman’s right to choose) or any of that pap.

(I’m looking at you, Republican Party.)

Yes. There are people who are worthless. Who suck up precious oxygen when they’d do us all a great favor by sucking on an exhaust pipe, instead.

I know how that sounds. But look at the headlines, if you can stomach them. Read about the latest act of depravity, of cruelty, of man against man and man against helpless animals, then shake your head and move on. Because that’s what we do in order to go on living. Because to bear witness to so much evil so much of the time is untenable.

Thanks to the Internet and social media and shares and likes and Tweets, ad nauseam, we’ve all paid witness to those individuals who behave in manners so despicable, that they bring out our darkest impulses. I probably shouldn’t speak for you, but I do go to my dark side when I read about monsters — worse than any that go bump in the night. My inner vigilante comes out, but has nowhere to go as I’d prefer not to spend the rest of my life in a jail cell.

Consider the recent story about West Ham defensive footballer, Kurt Zouma, who was videotaped kicking, punching, and slapping his cat, in front of a kid, no less.

Let this sink in for a bit. Imagine if you will, this hulking, soul-less excuse for a human being abusing his pet cat in such an indefensible manner. What must that child have thought? And how will this impact him in years to come?

I didn’t watch the video. I couldn’t because from all reports it was horrific and that type of insanity stays with me. These days, I can’t risk it as I already feel as if I’m teetering on the edge of reason.

Now, as retribution, the hulk lost his high-paying gig with the Stratford (East London) based West Ham football team, an appropriate moniker for this asshole as he evidently possesses the intelligence of a ham.

Zouma also lost a lucrative sponsorship deal with Adidas. Boohoo. Too, he may be facing prosecution. Without question, he deserves it, as he deserved having his cats removed from his “care” by the RSPCA (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

As if we needed further proof that as a society, we’re screwed, an influencer, who shall go nameless here, has suggested that the reason the hulk is taking so much heat is that he’s black. She did manage to get her name in a headline, though.

Screw it. This is her name: Sally Suleiman. You’ll see it at some point, anyway. A perfectly made-up dunce who somehow managed to reel in over 159k followers on Twatter. But shit, the girl knows how to contour.

If you care enough, get on there and give her “what for,” as I did.

This is beyond the ken for me. First, fuck influencers. Every last nickel-grabbing one of them. So what this imbecile is saying is, that if the animal abuser was Caucasian, Asian, or Native American, he’d get off scot-free.

Yeah. That’s the kind of influence that breaks down walls, right? Someone, verbally bitch-slap this idiot. Please.

I don’t know much about the Bible. Hardly anything, in fact. But I do know that there’s a little something in there called “An eye for an eye.” Let the punishment fit the crime, so to speak.

I’m all for this. I reckon some of you are, as well.

“But,” others here may point out, “he apologized.”

And if you believe this brute is truly sorry for his actions, allow me to influence you otherwise.

Zouma’s not sorry. The only thing this dude is sorry about is the hit to his bottom line.

That said, something tells me he’ll get off easy. Instead of getting the kicks, slaps, and punches he so roundly deserves, just like he dished out to an animal that trusted him, the court will probably assign “psychiatric counseling.”

Talk about a waste of time and money. And all for a waste of space.
