Partners in Crime

September Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Shadows”

What are we gonna do next?

Star, the pretty princess in the pink chair rescued us in August of 2014. She just turned 9 in May, and the little brown cutie looking at her in adoration is Bear. He also rescued us, a few months after Star, and today is his 9th birthday!

Star used to love to steal my outside chair every chance she got. Bear would nip at her, trying to keep her out of it. She’d rest a while and then they’d go tearing through the yard. Star would bowl him over. I needn’t have worried because he’d get right back up and the chase was on again.

One of their favorite games used to be to distract me while I was eating. They don’t do it as much anymore because I caught on to their little game, but Bear would go toward the back door, and while I was up to let him out, Star would run over and steal my food right off the table. Sneaky! It’s a good thing they’re so cute. And they’re still partners in crime.

Thanks to Mary Chang Story Writer, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, and Sandi Parsons for the Six Word Photo Story publication.
