In The Forest Shadows, Sunshine Lights The Way

Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Shadows”

Shadow, light, seeing truth through trees.

Sunbeams, scattered light fading in and out of tree shadows, nature’s dance without pause.

The intermingling effect of light and shadow creates a delightful impression!

Komorebi (木漏れ日) pronounced Koh-mo-reh-bee is a Japanese expression —sunlight filtering through tree leaves.

Tree light transforms an ordinary day into a mystical one. Hope shimmers in the trickling sparkle of light. Although life may be challenging, especially when shrouded in darkness, permanence is an illusion. This too shall pass.

When life, eclipsed by shadows, feeds into worries, fears, and anxieties, direct your undivided attention to the truth of illumination.

“No situation is so dark that there is not a ray of light!” Norman Vincent Peale

There is always light. If only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.Amanda Gorman

“You may be the only person left

who believes in you, but it’s enough. It takes just one star to pierce a universe of darkness. Never give up.” Richelle E. Goodrich

When was the last time you experienced the Komorebi effect?
