Pandemic Poetry & Thoughts 2.

I wish…

I wish there was a genuine sense of happiness and content.

I wish there was a way to go back in time and not gamble everything I spent.

I wish we could just let each other live our lives and chat openly.

I wish we could just make memories instead of being forced to create them.

I wish that I had never taken any prescribed or illegal drugs.

I wish there was a definitive solution for mental health which we can share with digital hugs.

I wish we could just stop and think before we say things which we later regret.

I wish there was a way to speak to people whom we wished to of met.

I wish I could right the wrongs of my troubled recent past.

I wish I can build a strong and happy relationship with my son at it be able to last.

I wish I could take the stars from the skies and put them in your eyes.

I wish people would just be open and honest instead of telling bare face lies.

I wish there was more water in the world and food.

I wish there was a way to uplift everyone’s low and sad mood.

I wish we could just chill out and relax.

I wish we could live out our lives to the max.

I wish that all your hopes and dreams come true and mine too.

This is another attempt at trying to write something different and new. I chose another poem so now that makes two. After reading Timothy Key post he has given me something to aspire to.

I wish we can soon get back to reality where we can watch Match of the Day on a Saturday evening then turnover and watch boxing’s fight night and M.O.T.D.2. the following day to finish an awesome sporting weekend like a proper Bank Holiday.

I wish we will look forward to the future and create a sustainable agricultural model so we never have to use food banks again so nobody will have to worry or clean up the mess, that we can share our thoughts and memories without all this uncertainty and stress.
