Overthinking

Poetry prompt — day 1

I love thinking, Because it gives me a chance To make perspectives uniquely.

I like to lose in my thoughts, But somewhere when I go deep, I found myself over-thinking.

Overthinking is hard to handle, Because it leads to problems, And it is hard to take a step out of it.

I try to overcome it, And at the end, I again found myself lost in it.

However, I try my best to get out of it, Because a person should be busy living, Or busy thinking, not over-thinking.

First and foremost, I want to thank all of you for giving your valuable time to my challenge. I am grateful to all of you who are taking part in this challenge.

Change comes to us suddenly. Before two or three days, you never thought of participating in such a challenge. However, today you all are part of this challenge. I know you all have a thought that if you took a part in this challenge, it will be hard for you to manage time. It's hard to accept change.

Now, you all wonder what is today's prompt.

Write a poem about the thing that you want to change in yourself?

It's hard to even think about it. But, I am sure everyone has at least one thing that they want to change in their selves.

So, take a deep breath, think, and start writing.

As a writer and poet, I love thinking. Besides, writing I always think a lot.

You can overthink a small problem or challenge until it looks like a huge and undefeatable monster. I received so much feedback from my loved ones that I am an overthinker and I want to change it.

I accept that I am an overthinker. I try to not be an overthinker and to be a philosopher.

“Don't get too deep, it leads to over thinking, and over thinking leads to problems that doesn't even exist in the first place.” – Jayson Engay
