POETRY
Only You Know
Of brokenness
I’m in a million pieces and only you know where the cuts have fallen.
And only you know how sharp the blade was.
I’m in a million pieces with jagged edges and only you know which edges can seal and which will stay put, dry up and scar into numbness.
I’m in a million pieces wherein each piece is a rubble from the mere dichotomy of whether to love or to love again despite.
