Magic
Of crackling love
When the heart burns, submerged in love, drowning in the pangs of absence, your face disperses a rainbow through the prism of my tear.
I long for the sun to shine through the cracks into the abysses; for the stars to tell me that distance is as unreal as infinity, that light years are real yet unfathomable to our love; and that which cannot be fathomed is no more real to us than bright-eyed pixies, elves and fairies swishing magic wands.
And yet, I want to be told that, this is magic — you and me thrown up into an endless black sky, only to crackle, sparkle and revel in each other, every moment our paths cross, despite the seemingly endless time.
