One Kiss in One Hundred Words
A 100-word IdeaStream story

The room was dark, the light from the TV flickering. I was lying in his arms, impatient, eager.
When I could no longer wait, I tipped my head back as far as I could. I kept my eyes closed and my lips pressed together ever-so-subtly.
Now? Would he understand that I wanted it now?
The movie went on, the voices filling the room, but I barely heard any of it.
I could tell he was looking at me. Wondering. Now?
Minutes passed. Just as I was about to turn my face away, giving up, he touched his lips to mine.
Thanks, Lisa Bolin for the invitation to write 100 words about my first kiss. My first kiss, to this day, was the best first kiss (with a new partner) I ever had.
