On Choices
From the storyteller’s diary
We all have choices.
Good and bad. Bold and cowardly. Right and wrong. Wise and regrettable. Made and unmade.
Quite a list of alternatives. Well, the choice I had made was not mine entirely. However, it qualifies as bad, cowardly, wrong, unmade and regrettable.
The choice to not fight was bad and cowardly. The choice to keep silent was wrong. The choice to have allowed someone else to decide a good chunk of my life to rot was regrettable. The choice to find my way back was unmade.
The last one is the only one that can be changed. I can make a choice now. I have chosen to find my way back.
