Love And Hope In Difficult Times
Olly Olly Oxen Free
A memory of the light
Crosswords between light and darkness, reveal themselves like a game of hide n seek.
Recalling from the chambers in my mind, like a photograph of the light I’ve found before, I call olly olly oxen free.
This time it won’t come out, believing without seeing, it’s showed itself before.
Treading through the darkness, training to bear the light, like an angel on an evergreen tree, a soldier hellbent on chaos.
Mind stores blessed pictures and paintings of light, mimicking an empty space, clear, open, and warm, like endless fields of love, and formless bodies in play.
These pictures my only keepsake, the feelings are all I remember, on this side of the spectrum I stay, where the loving light takes its form, as a memory to a place so familiar.
Time is not yet, the alarm has not gone off, working graveyard shifts in darkness, pulling souls up to the clouds.

Our most difficult times shape us to hold the light in the darkness. We must always do our best to keep our awareness and understand the blessings in the battle.
The trials strengthen our faith, give us character, and allow us to shine the light for others who are struggling through darker times.
May we hold onto our knowing of the light and do our best to shine it for all to see.
