Oh The City Carnival

Poetry in response to the prompt Carnival by Chirag
I dream of the city carnival loud vibrant crowds a site no more for real where masks were just a tradition and not an urge to save souls for kids were happy on pastel carousels not locked inside with fear where they could hold hands and jump around where there weren’t any two-meter markings on the ground
