Oh, Lost Love, My Lost Love
A Poem on longing for that Nostalgic, Painful Pleasure of Love

Have we not lazed away long afternoons, Smiling at each other? Have we not, after a devilish day, Felt at peace hugging each other? Have we not experienced paradisiacal pleasure Just looking at each other? Didn’t we ever, this Love’s storm, weather? Oh, Lost Love! My Lost Love! I’m broken now.
Remember the lonely sunsets we spent Holding hands? Remember the solemn moments we had Nursing each other’s wounds? Remember the thick and thin We’ve been through together wiping tears? Have you forgotten all those years? Oh, Lost Love! My Lost Love! I’m broken now.
Where is the joy in your smile? Where is the warmth in your words? Where is the love in the eyes? Were they all big, blatant lies? Oh, Lost Love! My Lost Love! I’m broken now.
Thank you, Martin, for the noble initiative of Sharing the Love, the seed of which was this:
Thank you, Ayasha, for tagging me. As I said, the game is on! Read her amazing poem on the game of Cricket.
I pass the baton to the lovely poets Ayasha, Bebongchu, Ravyne, FILZA, Nadia, Subo, Annelise, Somsubhra to continue this chain of love. The prompt given to me was “Nostalgia”. Let’s continue on the same lines.
And, Damn! Sorry, I forgot another amazing poet E. Scott.
Edit 1:- Come to think of it, anybody is free to take on the prompt, and continue the chain with their lovely words.
Looking forward to reading them.
Regards, Srinath.
Thanks for dropping by.
