“From sea to shining sea…”
“Oh, Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree, how lovely are your branches.”
The branches are what makes us different, but also what makes us a whole. The 50 States, multiple cultures, Hanukkah, various faiths, Kwanzaa, Three Kings,’ Boxing, and New Year’s Day… All so different…also similar!
Too many nowadays are concerned with the differences, calling names Libtards, and Trumpanzees. However, whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year or none at all, it is time we put the petty nonsense behind us and gather our strengths.
Remember the Old North Church, and “One If by Land, Two If by Sea,” for whatever her fallacies, “From sea to shining sea…” still sings to me.
