Being Reasonably Rich
Thrifty Words Theme Challenge #15: Transition
That’s how it started, the transition from being perpetually poor to reasonably rich started with a move. Some don’t like living in a third-world country. Some might even consider it beneath them. However, if you want a maid, a driver, a gardener, and a pool, sacrifices must be made.
Thanks to the folks at TBI, Jonica Bradley, Reuben Salsa, & Marla Bishop for the weekly prompt and for giving us the liberty to express ourselves without censorship. Too many publications I have submitted to wanted me to change the image, or change the verbiage, or they’d use the bullshit claim, “This is nice, but it’s just not for us.”
Here are the submission guidelines for the Thrifty Words Challenge.
Here is one of my favorite writers, Melissa Bee’s submission. I think you’ll like it too.
