Of Unseen Forces

Pushing against my trajectory, ire towards my actions, felt in the base of the wind, carried up my spine.

I am scabbed and beaten at the heels.

One more step offers truth, and freedom, and fails to be taken, for reasons I can’t control.

No.

I lie to myself, cheating reality of manifesting as required.

I understand, only choosing blindness to replace correctness of sight.

Decisions can’t be ignored, lest chaos ensue without remorse.

Head afloat above the water, it isn’t too late.

The blindfold hangs loosely from the lines of my face.

Existence can’t be avoided, there are choices to make.

For you and me, a matter of fate I cannot forsake.
