NY Judge Puts Limits on What Trump Can and Cannot Say Regarding Criminal Case Against Him
And Eric Trump has ideas . . .
The judge presiding over Donald Trump’s criminal falsifying business records case in Manhattan told the former president Tuesday what he can and cannot say publicly about the case. However, that didn’t stop Trump from taking to Truth Social to blast the court shortly after the hearing wrapped up. Less than an hour after the hearing ended, Trump complained his “First Amendment Rights, ‘Freedom of Speech,’ have been violated.”
As soon as his son Eric heard the news, he rushed down to Mar-a-Lago to offer a solution to his dad regarding any freedom of speech limitations that the “Bozo NY Judge” might come up with.
“Pops,” Eric exclaimed as they met. “I’m here to help you! We aren’t going to let that judge gag you on this! Let me be your mouthpiece; let me be your messenger!”
Trump immediately registered a look of concern, and shook his head. “I don’t know Eric. . .”
“Look, Pops. It’s a no-brainer. Let me be your spokesperson on anything related to the case. You just tell me what to say and I’ll say it. It’s like I’ll be your puppet. I’ll tear that judge a new one!”
Trump thought about this for a moment, then shook his head.
“I don’t know, Eric. I appreciate the offer, but . . .”
“Listen. Pops. You, yourself, say that Judge Merchant . . .”
“Merchan,” Trump corrected.
“Well, you always say he hates you — that whole system they got up there is after you. You gotta let me go after them too! I know just what to do.
I’ll be your attack puppet from Hell! They won’t know what hit them. I got it all worked out.”
It may be a sign of desperation on Trump’s part, but our reporting is that he agreed to let his son at least come up with a “puppet proposal,” to show him.
Our sources also say Eric Trump is currently at work on his puppetry, using the one specific model that has always impressed him.
