NUMEROLOGY
Numerology: Why Do Numbers Have Spiritual Meaning?
Numbers represent different levels of spirit manifestation
What is numerology?
Numerology is the belief in an occult, divine or mystical relationship between a number and one or more coinciding events. Numbers carry spiritual significance and meaning, according to the Pythagoreans in the 6th century BC.
Numerology is also the study of the numerical value, via an alphanumeric system, of the letters in words and names. Many people ask “what does 11:11 mean?”
Numerology assigns unique vibrations and meanings to every number, which can hold powerful significance in our everyday lives. Numbers represent energy, according to astrologer, Lubomir Tchervenkov.
Repeating sequences of numbers, known as angel numbers, are believed to be messages from the spiritual universe that offer insight, wisdom, and direction. Angel numbers date back to Ancient Greek civilisation with philosopher Pythagoras believing our reality is the physical manifestation of the vibration of numbers.
The numbers that you keep seeing are said to be a code that signals your ancient DNA, your cellular memory, and your higher consciousness to awaken.

What is the meaning of the numbers that we see?
Lubomir says that ancient people did not discriminate between words and numbers which carried the same energy. Letters were originally used to represent numbers (such as Roman numerals).
In ancient Hebrew language it was possible to reduce words to a number by adding the numerical equivalent of the letters. This principle still applies today.
Numbers were created consecutively by adding 1 to the last number, whereby we are symbolically going onto a new level and stepping outside of previous limitations.
There are prime numbers which cannot be divided by any other number, which contain “prime” energy or one energy, such as eleven. Numbers which can be divided by other numbers resonate with those it can be divided by. For example, the number 8 is a higher octave of the numbers 2 and 4.
Lubomir Tchervenkov describes the meaning of the numbers from 1 to 15, and says that the numbers 1 to 66 embody the first 10 levels and thus the most important levels of spirit manifestation.
Lubomir describes the predominance of 7 as denoting a practical spiritual teacher. Besides having 7 appear often in my life, I also used to see 9–11 a lot and this has nothing to do with the historical events known by this “name”. To me, seeing 9–11 is a sign of spiritual growth in terms of having completed a “chapter” in my personal life and being ready to move forward positively.
Lubomir describes the energy of 9 as “cosmic harmony manifested into spiritualized matter”, yet seeing 9 often by itself may indicate some tension as the person strives to accept that she/he is Source, i.e. is a person in human form who is embracing the wholeness that she/he is a spiritual or divine being in matter form.
Lubomir shows that the energy of 11 is about awareness of the spiritual nature of a person as she/he moves out of one level of spirit manifestation into another. It’s about the pioneer spirit of such a person.
Seeing the number 11 often can be seen as a message that you are on the right path and a reminder that you are responsible for your thoughts. It can also be taken as a push or a reminder, now that you have found the path, to keep on it and to continue finding and opening up new paths for continued spiritual growth or resolution of challenges.
If you see 9 and 11 together often, it may indicate that a cycle has been completed and you are ready to embark upon a new way of seeing or being in order to fulfil your mission to be genuinely of service to Source (God) and humanity, and indeed that you have started walking this path.

Sources of information about number meanings
There are many sources of the “meaning” of different numbers across the internet. The serious student of number meanings would do well to first study the material about numerology presented by Lubomir and perhaps that provided by other established astrologists or numerologists.
It’s a matter of reading the information on different internet sites and elsewhere and seeing what you resonate with, based upon the historical significance of the “energy” of numbers (as given by Lubomir and others).
For example, I like the descriptions given by Willow Soul.
Willow Soul’s site says about seeing 11:11 that it is letting you know to be the best human that you can be, and this resonates with me. Seeing 11:11 is a reminder to you to be aware of what you are doing positively and continue doing it.
Some say that seeing 11:11 means that you are on the right path and that all is well, and I agree with these. I also like to look deeper into the energies of things. So in this case, if all is going well, then seeing 11:11 a lot also reminds me to appreciate things and to integrate helpful tools or ways of being and reflect over and continue what I’m doing (to be on the right path).
The number 11 is a “master number”, meaning that it holds a unique energy. 22 and 33 are also master numbers.
The number 11 repeats when you see 11:11 and reminds us to be self-aware and to apply complete self-management in any moment.
While 11:11 shows that you are on the right path, it is also showing you the importance of being self-responsible, i.e. as long as you monitor and up-level your thoughts (or mindset), you’re on the right path.
This is because thoughts lead to feelings, and thoughts and feelings lead to your actions. And your actions create your results. So when you see 11:11 think about your current mindset and actions (that resulted in you seeing 11:11) and be aware that you are being prompted and helped to continue along that path.
After seeing 11:11 or repeated numbers which you feel are “angel messages”, i.e. from your spirit team, it is a good time then to connect to your guardian angel and spirit guides.
Thank them for their support and love, and ask them to continue to show you guidance for your next right step (for example, in the forms of synchronicities, flashes of thoughts that make you feel happy, inner knowing or intuition, or outer signs).
Spirituality in practice, to me, requires refining your coping strategies daily or as needed, and being organized and planned in terms of accessing your support systems and strategies. I have written numerous articles about overcoming limiting beliefs, managing overwhelm, changing your mindset, and about the origin of human beings.

The use of numerology
Numerology is a vast field with number meanings based upon your name and birth date, seeing numbers repeatedly, etc.
As with anything, approach the use of numerology with caution, meaning first qualify why you are interested in an aspect of numerology because this will tell you if you are just interested in “parlor games” or once-off satisfaction or if you are a true seeker.
The latter person will put in the time, effort, and reflection, and the review and adjustments to one’s life to make effective use of numerology.
If you are looking for the meanings of numbers appearing in your life, be aware that repetition of numbers and repeated numbers can signify the energy of those numbers being conveyed to you by your Guardian Angel or a Spirit Guide or by the Universe (i.e. the infinite realm of energy, which we are all a part of).
There is a lot more to life than what many of us think.
Numerology is a fascinating field with different systems, e.g. Vedic numerology, Chaldean numerology, Kabbalah numerology, and Pythagorean numerology, the latter of which is explored in this article.
Your Life Path Number
You can use numerology as a “divinatory tool” to reflect upon various energies in your life, e.g. through your Life Path Number and Destiny or Expression Number, to name two.
Your Life Path Number is calculated by adding up the single numbers of the numerical day, month, and year making up your birth date until you get single numbers (but not reducing master numbers, which are 11, 22, and 33).
My Life Path Number is 6 which denotes service work and healers. Those with 6 as their Life Path Number like to help others by nurturing and giving, and this certainly applies to me. People with this Life Path Number will go to the ends of the Earth to keep the peace and are happiest when helping others.
There are variations to calculating the Life Path Number. For example, one method doesn’t reduce the day and the month numbers to single digits but adds all numbers together
According to Matt Beech, my Life Path Number is 33. I prefer this method of working out the Life Path Number.
I was born on 14th September 1963 or 14–9–1963.
Add 1 + 4 + 9 + 1 + 9 + 6 + 3 and you get 33.
I have not exhaustively looked at the different results between simply adding up all the single numbers or grouping the day, month, and year of birth, then reducing them to single numbers and adding them.
However, my advice is that if you use the traditional method of first adding up the digits in your day, month and year of birth, reducing them to single digits and adding them; that if the result is a 6 or a 2 to use the other method (illustrated above).
Using the method that I used to get to 33 may yield a result of 11 or 33 for your Life Path number, both of which are Master Numbers.
