Notebook & Pen
A POM prompt poem
she sits hunched over long hair sweeps her notebook pen scratches furiously as words tumble from her soul pouring out liquid gold
love desire passion form treacle-like magic syrupy goodness that drips from her pen to the page a sweet love note a heart’s outpouring
as grey clouds gather over her head she wearily writes a torrential downpour of pain despair fear bringing comfort soothing her soul
the world it turns spinning on its axis seasons bleeding winds changing observing noticing she writes restless baring her soul
This poem was written in response to the Fiddleheads & Floss Prompt #2: Why do I write?
Thanks for reading.
