Limerick Prompt

Not the Doctor Spin You Know from Tetris

This is mind game boy

Care for a spin? (Image by Pexels on Pixabay)

There was a spin doctor named Dominick Who was really great at being slick He would slander and soil With his verbal snake oil Upset he was labeled a prick

There was a spin doctor named Dominick Who was really great at being slick Giddy with his fame He did not see his name Had been mispelt and shortened to Dick

No more a spin doctor named Dominick Who was really great at being slick Just like Lord Tim Bell Reputation in Hell That gives me a helluva kick!

Authors Note: Doctor Spin was the pseudonym used by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber for the hit single Tetris in 1992; the famous tune in the Game Boy version of the game.

Authors Second Note: The tune is based on the Russian folk song Korobeiniki — here is a beautiful duet played with guitar and violin.

Authors Third and Final Note: I was going to insert the link of the Red Army Choir singing Korobeiniki but that version needed to be Putin in its place in the annals of history.
