THOUGHTS
No, She Is Not Missing!
Life just happened.

I went back to North America from West Africa. My flight time was almost 24 hours. So that means a couple of days before and after the flight, I couldn’t do much on Medium. The worst-hit was reading other writers’ articles. This takes considerable time. I wonder if Sam Olliver noticed. I don’t do in-flight Wi-Fi. I wonder who does. Most flights I know charge an extra for it.
I had hinted that this trip was upcoming, and it finally happened. Now it is back to adjusting and settling in my new environment. My sleep cycle has not recovered. I still sleep as if I was in Nigeria. We now know why. Even though I am supposed to be in hustle mode, I kinda feel like I am on vacation again, except on a different continent. I wonder how much a change of environment would affect my writing, especially since my frequency went up a lot while in Africa.
The other thing that has changed is my writing style. It is not a 180 degrees change. I still write personal stories, but in addition, now write on random but somewhat interesting topics. I took a cue from Quy Ma, who once wrote about writers varying their writing styles. So bots haven’t hacked my account yet.
So this is an update to say I am still a part of the medium community and, despite my transition, dished out an article. That’s what the consistency culture does to you. I am not sure I can leave the link here cos the publishers have not published it yet. That’s enough for now. See you in my next article telling of fresh adventures!
