No One Is Coming To Save You, But That’s Okay
“I do not speak to those who are well employed… but mainly to the mass of men who are discontented, and widely complaining of the hardness of their lot or of the times.” Henry David Thoreau
As I sit at my desk thinking what to write I’m still holding out hope that things will get better, people will read my articles and I’ll be a successful writer.
But I’m tired of waiting for someone or something to come and save me.
Hoping, or worse, expecting something to change us keeps us trapped. The only way to make a change is to take our lives into our own hands.
I am where I am because of my thoughts and actions, so my thoughts and actions are the only thing that will get me out of this mess I’m in.
No one is coming to save me, or you, but that’s ok, we already have what we need inside.
You are capable of more than you could possibly believe, as long as you believe in yourself.
