No Longer Lollygag
A poem
I feel a frisson of excitement as
nikhedonia overwhelms
the retreat of the whiffler,
Inhaling a glorious petrichor
what a change from the abomasum
which too often I bibble
Yes, I’ll pay the gabelle
grateful no longer to be
lollygag and free at last
to discard my dowlas
to be the philodox
I was born to be
Poem inspired by finishing the first act of my novel, and IdeaStream No.101?
