No, I don´t want to tell my younger self what mistakes he should avoid

During the last days, I read a lot of articles that dealt with the fact that it´s easy to be wise with the benefit of hindsight.
So J.J. Pryor titled:
It´s a very interesting article which summarizes at the end the experience of the author publishing his first book on Amazon.
Another Author, Mayank Pamnani, published the following story:
In this article, Mayank Pamnani gives very useful tips for new members on Medium.
In a more general way, Wajeeh Khan published tips for blogging.
In his story, Wajeeh Khan mentions among other things Search Engine Optimization and Google AdSense as experiences.
Not only for blogging or writing on Medium but for life in general Barry Davret gives an insight into his experiences:
The subtitle already shows that hindsight is the crucial fact. I fully agree with the lessons he learned.

I love his articles and I can relate to most of his 21 things he would tell his 21-year old self.
Conclusion
All the above-listed articles show the experiences of their authors. They can give every reader help for handling the same obstacles. But on the other hand, all the problems and obstacles and failures have led the above-mentioned authors to the point where they are now. Would Tim Denning be the same person today when he knew these 21 things at the age of 21?
