Nightmare

Was it all a dream?

James felt he flew over his bed the whole night, squeezing his hands in his mattress. Slowly he opened his eyes.

He looked around for his wife, but she wasn’t there, lying where she always lied. He didn’t dare to close his eyes again to fall back into his nightmare.
