Cell Phone Proliferation
Nightclub Stranger Gestured for Us to Repeat a Dance Move
She was just a random customer doing a video of us!

People constantly tell us that they love watching us dance. We look so romantic. Monday night was a new experience, though.
We did an underarm turn while dancing at City Fire nightclub. A few seconds later, when I glanced at the table next to the dance floor, a woman signaled for us to do it again so she could get a cellphone video.
Our dance turn is different. Most times, the guy just holds his hand up and the woman spins underneath. For us, our hands are in the same position, but we dance around each other, under our hands, and wind up facing opposite directions.
When we walked off the dance floor, we didn’t talk to the stranger and she didn’t offer to send us a copy of the video.
P.S. We had our nails done today at the Brownwood Hotel and mentioned what happened to the manicurist. She said that a visitor about a month ago mentioned that she saw the cutest couple dancing the night before and pulled up the video. It was us. It is a public dance floor, so I suppose anything is possible.

- City Fire provides the same drinks as the town squares, at the same price, except they are delivered to our table. We don’t have to stand in line.
- We can order dinner too. Finally, it is heated in the winter and air-conditioned in the summer, also has a roof when it rains.
- There is always something to do during retirement in The Villages, other than play golf and join the 3,000 clubs. Some of the 30 or 40 bands are pictured here.
- Live music on the Square every night drove the decision to retire to The Villages.
