What to do next:
Step 1.
Make sure we have your e-mail — send your e-mail address to DEP’s e-mail ASAP please so we can send out the consent for the book projects. [email protected]
Step 2.
Make sure you are connected with us via WhatsApp for easy communication
Step 3.
Attend or watch Zoom meetings to ask questions and get to know each other
Step 4.
Sign up to Draft2Digital our publishing company and send your user name to DEP’s e-mail address
Step 5.
Start to work on your Biography that will be in the book. Submit to DEP make sure to use tags #DEP Book Project and #Dancingelephantspress
Examples you can follow from previous Authors from 2022 — you will find each author their biographies and other submitted stories for the book project in 2022 here.
Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
Please also submit Biography as a word document to DEP’s e-mail address. [email protected]
Step 6.
Start to work on your 3 articles for the book and submit them as soon as possible the sooner we have them the easier for us to start putting the book together.
Step 7.

Poetry book same steps as above for the book project. We have 4 more slots if anybody is interested in participating in the poetry book.
10 original poems were posted in Dancing Elephants Press between Jan 2023 -July 31st, 2023. Use tag #DEP Poetry #Dancingelephantspress.
Also, send the poem collection in word document format (no links or pictures) to the dancing elephants e-mail by or before July 31st. The first 5 poems are due by April 30th.
