In our discussions, to decide how we could make a decision and not have to deny anyone who applied there was a lightbulb moment.

1. To create one book for the announced Book Project on Spirituality, Inspiration, and Joyfulness

and …wait for it…

2. Another book following the Book Project for a Poetry Collection that we will later focus on.🎉🎉🐘🐘

Book Project guidelines

Send your e-mail and phone contact on WhatApp to DEP’s e-mail address.

To Start: Create a Biography and post it on DEP. Also, e-mail the word doc format to DEP. — if you already created a bio before, we can use that one, or you can update and resubmit by February 28th.

1. Participants will need to register on the Draft2Digital website.

2. Authors must participate in WhatsApp and e-mail conversations and Zoom meetings as needed to collaborate.

3. Consent form will be sent to your e-mail for the book project.

4. Profits from the book will be equally divided amongst the authors, with 1% more for your editor’s hard work.

5. You also have to be willing to promote the book.

6. No embedded links can be present in the word documents. E-mail the word doc format of the 3 articles for the book to DEP by May 31st. Use tags# Dep Book Project and #Dancingelepahntspress when submitting your articles.

7. One photo only please with the Medium article. No photos for the Word document.

8. The articles have to be about personal experiences and without plagiarism.

9. Submit the total 3 articles — word count for the articles minimum of 800 words — once a month in March, April, and May (if you previously submitted to these prompts it is also accepted between Jan 2023- May 2023) to DEP to the following prompts:

We are accepting 4 additional people at this time for the poetry collection. Please respond to this post and submit a letter of interest by March 1st to DEP if you’d like to participate.

Poetry Collection requirements:

Send your e-mail and phone contact on WhatApp to DEP’s e-mail address.

10 original poems were posted in Dancing Elephants Press between Jan 2023 -July 31st, 2023. Use tag #DEP Poetry #Dancingelephantspress.

Also, send the poem collection in word document format (no links or pictures) to the dancing elephants e-mail by or before July 31st. The first 5 poems are due by April 30th.

Additional requirements:

2. Sign up for the Whatsapp DEP community for easy communication related to the project and to build community
3. Read other poetry submissions in DEP and comment on them

6. Be willing to support and market the poetry collection
7. Authors are required to participate in WhatsApp and e-mail conversations, and Zoom meetings as needed to collaborate
