News Flash: People Who Write About Making Money Make More Money

(Because this is a topic a lot of people are interested in!)

It’s a new month, which means people are posting about their earnings. I just did it too.

With new earnings posts come new complaints from people who are tired of seeing earnings posts. I called these particular complainers out in this article. (See #2.)

They say:

“You can only make money writing about making money.”

I understand where they’re coming from. It can get tedious to see these articles over and over again. It doesn’t seem like there’s substance to them.

But we’re on a platform for writers, and writers like to make money. So when people post about making money, that’s of interest to a huge audience.

You can’t blame people for writing about what’s interesting to other people. That’s what we’re supposed to do!

Would I recommend someone only write about Medium earnings? No, but it’s fine to write about it sometimes, especially if you’ve seen huge growth.

Other people want to read it, otherwise it wouldn’t be such a popular topic.

These growth posts are helpful and motivating for people who are just starting out. I enjoy reading about people’s earnings because I want to see how they got there. It helps me come up with new ideas.

If you see complaints like this, don’t let them bring you down. If people don’t want to read it, they won’t. Simple as that.
