Never have I ever!

Let’s Play :)

Have I ever been ashamed of myself?

Yes, I have.

Have I ever been guilty of doing something wrong?

Yes, I have.

Have I ever felt that I am not good enough?

Yes, I have.

Have I failed in life like a million times?

Hell yeah, I have.

Have I ever confronted myself with the above and thought that’s normal?

Never.

Have you?

If yes... REALLY?

You know It’s getting really easy to catch negative emotions and really hard to get a negative sign on that RT-PCR Report. These unprecedented times were hard on everyone, but they really gave us time to be with ourselves. This newly created pause button between the rushed start-stop life actually made us catch a breath and realize some things.

The one person you and I’ll be most close to will be our own soul, our own thoughts. Still couldn’t be more afraid to accept the fact it’s okay to feel that way sometimes. It is hard. Acceptance is hard.

People tend to say that once you hit that rock bottom, the only way back is to rise back up. They never mention that sometimes you are so exhausted, even thinking of climbing back up drains you out. You even need the courage to be courageous. “Excess of everything is bad” but still we tend to pile up these so-called ‘negative emotions’ within ourselves. I kept piling it like that one chair piled up with clothes in corner of a room, which is watched by every eye that passes by, but always ignored.

Sitting silently, sometimes writing down, even staring at the sky made things clear than they ever were. My brain could not process for a long time that what’s not okay is not knowing when to come out of the box of all guilt, shame, fear, etc.

We have been so accustomed to the old mental patterns that we don’t feel like breaking them.

I don’t have 5 steps or rules to come out of the zone. Everyone is unique and will definitely find their own ways to shine. I simply started with one thought: “I wanted to stop feeling bad anymore.” It’s hard to stop feeling but harder to keep feeling the same way. I haven’t excelled but I am numerous steps ahead of where I was.

Acknowledge every emotion as it comes and leaves.

I hope you give yourself a chance to accept, learn and evolve through it. :)
