From: Trista Signe Ainsworth

Nature shares beauty, joy, food, and many other things with humanity. It’s a never-ending process for us.

I was born and raised on a tropical island. A place where nature never goes to sleep. The sun is always nearby. I can capture and enjoy a sunrise daily. A sunrise for hope I say. This is at the Rae Town Fishing Village. The sun spread hope from here every morning.

I don’t have to go butterfly hunting. They will find the most beautiful flowers that are in almost every yard to pollinate. I think they enjoy posing for me. They don’t fly away when I approach. Actually, they ignore me. I think that is a good thing because I have more than one hundred images of different butterflies feasting on various flowers.

The bees find their flowers to enjoy too.

Ants too do their part.

Then there are the birds that feast on fish at the seaside.

Beautiful flowers are everywhere.

Then there are flowers growing out of concrete and rocks. Nature is resilient.

This is a eucalyptus tree. I dry its leaves and brew tea for my sinus issues.

Nature is also an artist.

Nature says hello.

Nature reaches out to comfort others when they are hopeless.

The sky is an easel painted with new works of art by the hour.

The Sea is raging. It will calm down soon.

The sea usually calms down later.

Food from nature.

Humans impose restrictions on nature and carve a design into a tree.

A bee resting after a hard day’s work.

The shallow part of the sea.

Unique designs from nature.

Nature’s promise to be back tomorrow with more happiness and love.

All images were taken by me Annelise Lords on my many walks across Jamaica. I have more than ten thousand images of the beauty, resilience, and unique style and design of nature. It is a gift to humanity and I appreciate, respect, and love this gift.

Thanks to Trista Signe Ainsworth for this piece. Nature brings happiness to my heart. I sometimes walk when I am sad. But a few minutes into my journey I always see something unique and amazing that makes me smile. Sadness won’t last too long around nature. Lol

I am grateful for the gift of nature.

I am lucky to be blessed with so many beautiful gifts.

I will do my part to contribute to nature so its gifts can and will last.

I am blessed to be able to enjoy and share nature with you.

Please enjoy more gratitude from happy and grateful writers on this platform.
