Nature Can Heal Your Broken Soul and Remind You of Who You Are
Nature is the best medicine for our mental health.
I could write about nature all day. I wish everybody could spend more time in nature. Living in a metropolis city can disconnect us from nature. Being solely trapped in work and school makes us forget what it’s like to be in the green. Most people forget what it’s like to be alive and to live. To be in the present moment. We don’t even know what it’s like. All the chaos and busy schedule drain our soul. We become more stressed out and thus sicker internally.
Nature reminds you of who you are.
I would say there is no medical medicine that can lower our stress, anxiety, and depression like nature does. I can’t speak for everybody though. Everyone is different of course.
Nature is both medicine and therapy for me. You forget about the problems you have back home. You don’t live in the past or in the future when you’re surrendered by nature. You live in the moment when you’re connected to nature. You feel in tune with nature. You feel in ONE with nature.
When I have children one day I’ll let nature be their playground. Not technology.
“Never underestimate the healing power of a quiet moment in the garden.”
I would say nature is the perfect utopia, for me at least. Every spring and summer I would go out at 4 AM and find a spot before the sunrise appears. There is just something about how a new day has come in a quiet hour where everybody is still in their dreamland. Hearing the birds singing adds extra beauty to the atmosphere.
Being inside all day makes us feel insane and disconnected to reality. Without a doubt. Being in nature makes us feel saner and re-connected back to reality. It takes us back to who we are. It reminds us of who we are.
What makes us disconnected from nature?
- We don’t have people in our lives who wants to share outdoor activities with us
- School and work becomes a distraction to us
- We become highly addicted to technology
- We spend a lot of time being on social media
- Procrastination and laziness can pull us from going outside
- We believe materialism fulfills our soul, not nature
- Our parents didn’t teach us about the importance of nature
Some people don’t even know how disconnected they are from nature. They walk around in their daily life working and forgetting about what it’s like to be alive. They become iller and psychologically insane.
Their life has only been about work and nothing else. I think people are taught to work and forget. They have been taught to work so they can forget what it’s like to be alive and one in nature. All the bills keep us stressed out just like social media makes us stressed out.
Buying materialistic things can give us a temporary state of satisfaction. But in nature, we are content. We are in a state of happiness that we can’t find anywhere else, except when we are with our loved ones.
To feel the fresh air of rainforest and hear the sound of birds singing every morning is what we need to lessen our stress.
To see the sunrise every morning symbolizes a new chance of rising up after the darkness.
Life is precious and all the unnecessary dramas are not worth giving attention to.
There is nothing better than to spend time in quiet nature. You’re away from dramas and problems.
Our life is plugged with school, work, stress, and everyday-life of constantly working that we forget who we even are. And not knowing who we give us anxiety and confusion. We have been in school for many years that taught us to work till we die and not who we are and the purpose of living.
People are depressed and anxious today because they are confused about who they are. No one reminded them of who they are. They work hard yet feels empty inside. The work and school take us away from time in nature.
Nature says that we are all connected and time is just an illusion that has been manmade to stress us out more. That's why you get stressed out when you have 1 day to finish your homework.
Nature is great for your mental health
You are a divine being, a soul who has been gifted with life by God. You were meant to live in this world with a purpose. A purpose that only you know. Stress is not natural. Stress kills your soul that leads to your death so it’s important to back off and take a moment for yourself.
Nature reminds you of who you are. Nature is your best teacher and can give you a precise answer to who you are. Nature reminds me to be in balance with everything. Never be extreme but balanced. To stay in silence even though I am in a room with loud-mouthed stupid people. Because people will quickly realize who’s the big-mouthed idiot and who’s the calm, mature one in the room.
Nature teaches you to clear your head when your head is bombarded with toxic, haunting thoughts. When you’re surrounded by nature, you see the beauty. You are being remembered what it’s like to live in silence. Being inside all the time makes you feel sick and suffocated. Once you’re out in nature, you can feel the fresh air from nature. It’s like being alive again. Fresh air is good for our soul.
You’re being distracted from all the problems when you are around nature.
We, the people are neglecting the fact that nature is unique for us. It gives us something that we can’t find anywhere else. It gives us something greater than what medicine can do for us. You don’t get bad side effects in nature as you do with taking medicines. The greatest medicine is free, and that’s nature.
Being in nature makes us feel high, in a good, healthy way. We become high in life. We feel alive again after living over many decades as an automatic robot working every day. We feel connected and whole again after being in nature because we humans ARE part of nature.
Deep inside, in our subconscious mind, we know we feel better by being in nature but we don’t know how to express that vocally.
The less time you spend in nature, the more easily-irritated and angry you become. The more time you spend in nature, the calmer and happier you become. Nothing irritates you easily like when you’re disconnected from nature.
The best sound of music is the sound of nature; the sound of the rain, the birds singing and water streams down from the waterfalls.
Nature is your greatest medicine.
Yes, it’s that simple. Life is meant to be simple but people made it more complicated to live.
Nature shows us the simplicity of life.
