Job Offer

A summer day when I’m studying in a library in my hometown, I received a phone call from a woman who said that she is a human resources expert in a bank which I’ve applied to work in there before then. I was shocked because of the coming call. Yes, I had applied for the job but I had no expectations because the exam, which was necessary to take the position in the bank, was a hopeless case for me.

Also, she said that I have to come to the bank in three days. I got that I’m lucky about it. I had prepared those that includes much documentation like medical checks up. I bought a flight ticket to Istanbul from my hometown.

First Days In The Bank

When I’ve arrived at the bank, they said me they were waiting for a long time for a person, who will work in this position. I was so happy because I had taken the position.

The mission of the position is to be accepted personal loans from coming demand from the branches of the bank. It is felt so cool because my around had said give us money to buy something. :)

I think that my teammates are so welcome people. I like them. Also, the bank is a huge organization that involves many different departments like looks a fruitful working machine. Office facilities are nice.

In contrast, in my view, the bank has some disadvantages to working there. I emphasizes that I was a student worker and the permanent staff has a different case. First, the salary was ultra-low when reviewing the cost of life in Istanbul. If one person thinks of a banking career in the future, yes maybe it is available to gain experience. However, I do not want to continue as a banker in the future.
