My Top Five Stories Which Received The Most Views
Most stories aren’t curated

It feels satisfying to share our most viewed stories with the audience. Also, it’s the best idea to share the collection of most viewed, or curated stories when you have no ideas to write about.
Here I put my most viewed stories in my one-year of Medium career.
Story #1:
Vertu: The Costliest Mobile Brand. What’s So Special?
Curated? Yes
Reading Time: 19 hr 35 min
I wrote this story in October 2020, when I observed a mobile of the brand name ‘Vertu’ with the hero in the movie Goutham Nanda. I researched and came to know it’s the costliest mobile brand!
“Definitely most people wouldn’t know this.”, I thought, “This would be a great article idea.” I self-published it, it got curated, and for my surprise, The Startup sent a private note that they loved it and would like to publish it in their publication.
The story all explains what features make Vertu deserve the status of the costliest mobile brand. It’s a good read, for sure.
Story #2:
The World’s Dangerous Island is Still inhabited by the Earliest and Uncivilised Humans
Views: 777
Curated? No
Reading Time: 31 hr 24 min
I wrote this story on Jan 17th this year. YouTube recommended me a documentary about the Sentinel Island the other day. I found it interesting.
“The fast progressing world shouldn’t be knowing there are people still who don’t know they live on Earth”, I thought.
I researched many for this article and made it really interesting. The story got really huge response! It has contributed to my top writer status in ‘Art’.
The story includes the features of the island, lifestyle of the tribal group, and how wildly they behaved when they saw aliens i.e., humans. Have you read it yet?
Story #3:
Apple Introduces ‘Mask ID’ in iOS 14.5 — How Does It Work?
Curated? No
Reading Time: 8 hr 23 min
I wrote this story on Feb 11th this year. Listing this story in my top viewed stories is really unexpected.
I just wrote it casually explaining how the upcoming iOS 14 feature ‘Mask ID’ works. I think I made a good choice in putting a man with a mask rather than featuring an iPhone stock photo. It made the story clickable.
The story includes how Apple arrived at Mask ID, how it works, and the equipment that’s required to enable the feature, and a taste of humour. The story contributed to my top writer status in ‘Innovation’.
Story #4:
Google’s Popular Free Service Ceases Now. Here’s Why.
Curated? Yes
Reading Time: 2 hr 20 min
I wrote this story in November 2020.
If you’re an avid Google Photos user, you must be knowing this: Google’s gonna stop free unlimited media uploads from June of this year. Yes, a sad news. I too have been using the app for many years to store all my memories paying no penny.
Just as I read the news, I thought it would be a great article idea. As it was a trending topic, people were interested to know why Google did so. And that’s what I included in the story, along with alternatives of the app.
Story #5:
The 11 Features in iOS 14 That Are Truly Unique and Awesome
Views: 545
Curated? No
Reading Time: 5 hr 50 min
I wrote this story in Jan 7 this year. I was experiencing the so-called writer’s block that day. So I didn’t get any ideas to write.
So, I thought I could make a list of my favourite features in my iPhone and scribble some notes about them. I crafted it into a neat story, and it was received well!
So that’s my collection of stories which tell me, “See how great you can write! Keep moving on.”
I heartfully thank Dr Mehmet Yildiz for providing me a wonderful opportunity of promoting my stories through his writing challenge.
I admire him for his efforts of uplifting new writers on Medium. He isn’t like any other publication owner who only accepts or rejects stories. He supports writers by giving opportunities to promote their hard-works.
