My Sun and My Moon
When a father grieves the loss of his time

Your birth changed my soul from within. Discarding this selfish man I once had been. I marveled at your blue pure eyes. Then shed joyful tears I no longer held inside. I guided your hand out our front door. We had many adventures in this world to explore. Then a day came when your mother and I must part. My goodby to see your everyday broke my gaurded heart. We now create our precious time sharing life together. In emotions visits I wish would last forever. You’ve grown to become a strong woman on her own. I see now it was your innocent youth I came to morn.
