I learn a lot from my travels and enjoy meeting people and have good friends.</p><p id="ded6">I have begun my journey with Medium recently and enjoy contributing to Illumination and Illmination Curated, Flicker and Flight, Words in Motion, Art Guide etc.</p><p id="473e">My blogs cover education, nature, environment, society, culture, travel, fashion, food, yoga, and home.</p><p id="b624">I have recently started writing poetry and I am enjoying it a lot. My Story

My journey in life and at work

I am Dr. Preeti Singh. I have been in the academic sphere for five decades. The two main places of work in education have been at Jesus and Mary College. (University of Delhi) and Jagannath International Management School (JIMS) Kalkaji where I was Head, Post Graduate Department of International Business Management. Apart from these positions, I also got many deputations in various prestigious departments of Delhi University.

I was Managing Editor of Journal 8M (The Indian Journal of Management and Strategy). I have worked in a corporate organization and have also been an entrepreneur in the fashion business owning a boutique of my own for some years.

I have been associated with many postgraduate and undergraduate institutes at Delhi University and other Management Institutes. I have participated in National and International conferences as an organizer, paper presenter, discussant, Keynote speaker, and Chairperson in many conference sessions in India and abroad.

I also had several Fellowships. I spent fifteen months at the Institute of Life Long Learning, preparing academic material for Delhi University’s portal in different subjects.

I have presented research papers in Europe in U.S.A, Canada, and Thailand, at conferences and delivered special lectures in foreign universities. I have conducted Faculty Development Programmes and Management Development Programmes.

I have 100 plus published research papers, articles, and book reviews in management journals. I have also received the Best Paper Awards. My well-known books in the area of finance are Investment Management(Now in its 20th edition), Portfolio Management, Fundamentals of Financial Management, Dynamics of Indian Financial System, and Stock and Commodity Markets.
