My Referred Members Earnings To Date
I was delighted to see the figures
Since the new Referred Members Program began a little over a month ago, I have logged into my account daily.
One of the first things I look at is my statistics, and I love to look at and compare them to the previous week or day to see how I have improved.
Referred memberships, a quote taken from Medium themselves
Readers can now support you more directly with their Referred Membership while still getting access to all of the writing on Medium. For every reader that a Partner Program writer converts to a Medium paying member, the writer will receive half of that reader’s membership fee, net of standard payment processor fees. Referral earnings are recurring as long as the reader’s membership plan remains active and will be in addition to Partner Program earnings based on member read time.
The referred membership program, in my mind, is an exciting one and a great way of topping up your monthly earnings from your regular articles. Because assuming the referred person keeps up their membership, you will get a portion of that money each month.
All you have to do is provide them with your link, and when they sign up to Medium and hey presto, the job is complete. Even better is that the new member does not pay any extra money for the privilege of supporting you.
I have recently also started a Ko-fi page, where I hope that people who appreciate my work will offer me a small donation as a sign of their appreciation.
So today, just before I left work, I checked my phone and looked at my Medium app. Wow, someone had clicked on my link and had taken membership from it.

Now, although they paid the same price as everyone else, they still decided to reward me by clicking on my link to do so.
If that person was you, and you are reading this article, thank you!
Would you like to know more about the referred members program? Please leave your comments, and I will help all I can.
