My Reads And Earnings Are Finally Hitting February Levels — Here’s What I Did.

I made $148.68 In the past 4 days. Here’s what happened.

The Subtitle was supposed to be the title.

Let me know which line sounds better.

Let’s begin, the 10-day countdown.

Ever since I started the New Pub Welcome, something changed.

The range and approach include the purpose and path forward.

They have all been shifted from self to group(following) to communities(Pubs) and to Medium. Maybe just a little bit but the result that brings is noticeable.

This is also the reason why, I screamed to many of you last week telling you to create a pub if not at least be a part of a few main ones.

These are some of them that I use:

Making nearly $150 in 4 days is not an easy thing to do, as it was in February. As I recall some days I get $50 and average at $40s. And I was getting 20s for March.

I thought those days were gone since March 1st began, which was the high of the month till March 19.

And yes, they are a one-off thing. But did you know that a one-time event can change lives? Definitely to life on digital platforms.

Even the titan of writers can not withstand a market downturn

Hey, give me my pen back.

I’m referring to the top writers, in my little window view of course.

Ryan Canady, and Daniel T.

Take a look at the posts before and after March 5. Things will never be the same.

However, I do see huge opportunities for new writers and accounts.

As it doesn't end there.

Now, pay attention and hear me out.

Medium just told us that 1.7% of accounts or members were suspended. (don’t quote me look up for yourself from Buster Benson’s Announcement)

But both Ryan and Daniel lost half of their readership and the worst part is Daniel was on the whole time with 2 Pubs, the algorithms changed again.

You can say that the 1.7% has a 50% effect on our so-called growth hacking niches if you will. Which I don’t see it that way.

As a new writer, you are actually in luck, this resets everything if you haven't noticed. This update, I called it will give the same amount of traffic to you as a new writer, if not more but the larger one will take a hit similarly to the August 2023 update.

Which I wrote about back in Dec. 2023.

But not all tabs are turned off.

Take Leonard and Carl’s case and see what they are doing.

If you are a larger following base writer and do not want your followers to un-notice you over time due to whatever medium is doing, then you should at least try to retain some more readership in any way.

Here’s what they are doing now:

Leonard Tillerman, made the right turn in starting a Pub.

Carl Jeffers, is going to start a new one soon.

I’ll leave it at that as this post is about….oh yes, I reread the title, hitting Feb levels.

Let me find the table for you.

Image of my stats record for March 18th–21st.

Just in case you like to see it in this format:

Image of earnings as of 3/21 End.

I had to post 14 posts in 4 days to achieve this but most of the reads and earnings came from 1–2 posts of the day. (1K earning goal still in the picture)

The purpose behind each post matters and quality remains at the top.

We are moving toward a quality-based era. All other tactics still apply, don’t forget.

If you miss it, new writers are in luck for a reset of level playing feild.

For all other writers, how do you feel after this update?
