My 7 Personal Favorite Articles
Articles about self-improvement, motivation, mindset, and life.

I started writing on Medium.com back in February. After getting off so a slow start, I started writing for the publication Illumination and I’ve since found my rhythm.
Dr Mehmet Yildiz suggested that the writers make a list of their favorite articles and that sounds like a great idea! Here are my favorites so far.
Trying New Things: Outdoor Rock Climbing
This is my first article to be curated on Medium which is special to me. It’s a day talking about my first-time outdoor rock climbing. Some cool pictures of Lake Tahoe and me on the rock.
Push Through and Post It Anyway
This is my most recent article. I like it though and I think it really encapsulates my journey as a writer, building my blog, and what I’m trying to do.
Don’t Be Sorry. Apologize and Grow Stronger
This article got hosted on a Wordpress blog that has around 14,000 followers. After a few days, the article had about 60 comments and the number of people who were able to relate to my words was a really powerful motivator for me.
The Game of Writing: Learning the Basics and Finding Your Voice
By far the longest article that I’ve ever written. I would consider it a short essay. I think it’s a bit short of 3500 words. It’s about learning how to write, the basics, and finding your voice. If you’re looking for a longer read, that’s the one.
The Great River of Life
This is the first piece that I published on Medium. I’m not sure exactly what I would call it. It’s almost a poem maybe? Let me know what you think!
5 Reasons to Write
Everyone likes list posts and this one’s about writing. So I’m going to round out mine with a couple over easy to digest list posts that I thought turned out well.
5 Reminder to Help Motivate You
Motivation is one of my favorite topics to write about. To finish my top 7 favorite articles I’ve posted on Medium is this one on motivation. It might be just the thing you need to get going today!
Final words
There you have it! My top 7 favorite articles that I’ve posted so far on Medium.com. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please leave a comment! I’d love to hear from you.
