My November Writing Goal
And how it went with my October goals

“November: The last month of autumn, but the beginning of a new adventure; time to take a risk and do the unexpected.” — unknown
A new month has started — November, the dark and cozy. I’m lighting the candles, drinking my morning coffee by the fireplace, and the kids are waiting for Christmas time.
I hope it will be a good month, but I know it will bring some challenges. I have been working full-time since mid-October and will continue this in November. In addition to my regular job as a dietician, I’m currently also working as a teacher. I teach classes in elementary school and middle school. From having quiet days with a lot of time to think, I now have stressful days with minimal time for my projects. Kids, homework, preparations, and housework occupy my evenings.
Although I know my days will bring valuable experiences, I worry about finding the time and energy to write. I love to be creative and to produce, but it requires some silence and peace of mind.
Goals for November
My goal is to publish 15 stories this month. I will focus on articles about books, photography, experiences, and prompts.
Furthermore, I will continue creating my website: https://hashtagread.com/. It’s currently a Coming Soon page, with work going on behind the scenes.
What about October?
My October Goals was to publish 15 stories and start working on a personal website.
Did I accomplish it? No.
I published 13 stories last month. I got off to a good start, but the previously mentioned new job came and destroyed my progress. Nevertheless, I’m happy with the 13 stories. To be a full-time working mother disrupts my creative process, but still gives me a lot of value. Besides, it’s the everyday experiences that inspire tomorrow’s stories, right?
I have started creating my website about books and reading. The name of the page will be #read.
