My mystery destination — more clues

Where I can be found, on the ground

In my previous story (in fact, the previous episode of this series), I asked if anyone could guess where I was headed. If you haven’t read that, please access it here before reading further.

I’ve seen some guesses from a few of you, with people guessing on the basis of the meandering river, or that view of the mountains. OK, so none of that was in Africa… Those pictures were taken from an aircraft while still on the way here.

No, I am not on the African continent right now. And as you should be able to see from the image at the head of this story, there’s some snow on the ground, and some plants are wrapped in plastic to protect them from the cold. (Though I must admit that I always wonder how much a single layer of thin plastic can do to help with that…)

I’ve been careful to avoid signs or lettering that would give the game away too quickly, but the next image shows a building that is quite typical here, among all the modern buildings.

In my next episode, I’ll share some more images that will definitely make it clear where I am. But please keep guessing, guys and girls!
