My Method of Writing in a Specific Niche, That Helped Me
Write in specific niche, but in a different way
Whenever we wanted to start a journey online like starting a YouTube channel, a blog or a freelancing career, The first suggestion we get from many people is to start in a specific niche.
So the question is, Do you need to start in a specific niche or not? — The answer is “YES”.
You should start everything in a niche, if you are a writer who write about “finance” and then “writing” and then “technology”, people will find it confusing and wouldn’t connect with you ever, because they will not know what to expect from you.
Disadvantages of Niche writing
Writing in a specific niche also has some disadvantages, If you are writing in a competitive niche it will take time and you will find it hard to achieve success, On the other hand, if you are writing in a non-competitive niche you will have a very small audience, In niche writing you will always run out of content.
The idea that worked for me
I’ve got an idea that worked for me, and I’m hoping it will work for you as well, which will keep you in a specific niche while you never run out of content.
Let’s understand with an example;
If you are a writer who writes about freelancing, you can also write about freelancing news, which gets you into the “News” niche — you can also write about best freelancing websites, which gets you into “Entrepreneurship” — you can also write about your income, which gets you into “Finance” — the list doesn’t end here, you can write about more and more things as a writer in freelancing niche, which will get you into other niches like motivation, self development, education, etc.
Final thoughts
Always feel free to connect to other niches that relates a little bit with your niche, I am not only a writer, I also read and watch videos of many creators on YouTube, Google and Medium and I have always enjoyed and saw many people enjoying their content when it’s out of their niche, but gives a little touch to their niche.
