My Medium Earnings for the Month of November 🤑

How my 4th month on the platform went.

I am still experiencing month over month growth so far and that’s the good news! The bad news (well bad for me anyways) is that the last week of November, I noticed my views and income slowed a lot.

Maybe its because I didn’t post a lot, but I did manage to write 12 articles, 3 short of my 15 articles per month goal.

I get so busy around the holidays!

I might post even less than that this month, and it may affect my numbers again. In December, we do lots of traveling and hanging with family members and going to Christmas events…and I’m not missing out on the spiked egg nog!

Its ok to take a Christmas break. 😉

Last month, I made around $75 and the month before was around $30 bucks, so I am happy with this amount! Just by doing something I enjoy and sharing it with others is making me some coins and I love that concept!

I’ve been encouraging everyone that I know to hop on the Medium train.

My plans for December

So far this month, I’ve made only $14, which is significantly down from this time last month, so I am pretty sure that I might not hit the $100 mark this month.

I am going to enjoy my Christmas, since its my favorite time of the year and start again strong in January.

I plan to write a few articles, but not much. What’s so fantastic is that while I’m not actively writing a lot this month. I am still reaping the benefits from what I’ve already done months prior.

I’m consistently making affiliate income and Amazon KDP book sales. It’s not an enormous amount, but its something. I get excited every time I see an email notifying me of a sale.

I also plan on joining the new Friend of Medium. I think this would be beneficial for me because I get a lot of google views that I don’t get compensated for.

It would be nice to get paid for those views as well.

Also, it would be great to support other writers that I enjoy reading to get some extra earnings.

How much did you earn last month?

At the end of the day, I am putting in all this work to help send my high schooler to college in 2 years. All of my Medium profits, Gumroad, Ko-fi and survey earnings are going into a separate account (I’m using Chime and it’s been great so far!) for her for the next 2 years.
