Dora’s abusive journey

Dora’s abusive journey with Donald Lucifer (the then love of her life) did not end when the marriage ended in 2013, but the abuse continued with the California Court System guided by Donald and his lawyers.

Multiple Affairs

Dora found out decades later that Donald had multiple affairs that began in 1974. She ignored the abuse because Dora decided that it was in the past and it did not matter according to Priscilla.

Abusive Behavior

Before the marriage in 1974, Dora confided about her abusive situation with her future mother-in-law, Priscilla who condoned Donald’s behavior. She told Dora to take a walk until Donald calmed down or she should go into a room that had a lock on the door. His anger would blow over, and then she would be happy.

Mental Institution

Priscilla’s “normal life” milestones were her 1948 hospitalization in a mental institution, the unwanted birth of Donald, the abuse caused by her husband, Mauricio, as well as affairs that were too much to bear. What about Mauricio who even ran Donald over with the car under the direction of Priscilla? In 1974, Priscilla admitted to Dora that she never wanted a child. She never wanted Donald. Donald did not want to have a child either. He said that he was afraid that he would abuse the child. But, I was the one abused. Dora began having trouble with the lack of transparency and slowly perceived that this was not normal. So what about the angry Priscilla when Dora started asking for information?

Maladjusted and deeply disturbed child and adult

Priscilla expected straight A grades from Donald. He also had to be academically number one. I recently found out that when Donald was in junior high school, high school, and university, Donald was a latch key kid since both of his parents were full-time professionals. Donald was left home alone and unsupervised after school for most of his childhood. He became a socially maladjusted and deeply disturbed child and remained as such as an adult. Dora figured out that he was “odd”, but she loved him, and Priscilla said that this was the proper life for our family.

Sneaky and dishonest

Dora moved in with Donald in the December of 1974. As a part of a “normal life”, Dora went into the bathroom in her apartment to take a shower. She noticed that the door lock was reversed. The button to the door was on the outside and the lock was on the inside. She decided to take a shower, kept the door unlocked, and made a mental note to tell the super of this new development. She finished her shower, dried herself off, and tried to open the unlocked door. It was now locked. Who locked it? Donald had just left for work. All she had on was a revealing robe, but she climbed up to the tiny bathroom window and crawled out, and jumped down almost losing her robe in the process. She had no key to enter her apartment so she called the super from her friend, Bunny’s apartment on the second level. Dora asked the Super to fix the bathroom door. He was surprised about the lock and promptly fixed it after he let her into her apartment. Dora did not want to have anal sex as well as bondage as Donald begged for and wanted everyone happy. Dora loves Donald and would never consider leaving until…(look for my later episodes) Bunny made matters worse, told Dora that she knew that Donald was having affairs. In this “normal life”, locks are tampered with, Donald turns out to be mentally maladjusted, he is having affairs, rapes, and abuses Dora.

Red Flags galore

Donald was a scientific mathematician. At night, he was a record producer. If he was having affairs, he had plenty of opportunities. Donald came home from work and heard about the lock, and he gave the obligatory wow, hope you are ok now. In retrospect, everything he says is always “off”. Donald never spoke the truth, so all Dora could do was watch and listen. He never tampered with the lock again. Dora believed that she was the one who caused the abuse by not adoring Donald enough. Were there enough red flags that Dora missed?

Whatever separates you from the Truth, throw it away, it will vanish anyhow.

Bloody Dora

His childhood friend, Red saw Donald hit Dora on the right side of the face in 1974. She was bloody and disorientated after that hit. Red does not remember that event anymore. After that bloody event, it mostly shocked her. She still married him because she believed she must have caused the incident, as well as the affairs mentioned by Bunny and the famous reverse lock must be her fault, but years later, she learned that she was gaslighted.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

On October 3, 1975, Dora married Donald Lucifer because he was cute and smart. Dora was young and happy to be with the love of her life. Donald appeared to be a great version of the evil Edward Hyde from the famed Dr. Jekyll after Dr. Jekyll’s persona began to be interjected with the angry Mr. Hyde soon after their marriage began. How crazy is that?

Alfred E. Neuman

They planned a small wedding with their closest friends. The witnesses were Red and Glinda. Donald looked like David Groh from “Rhoda” at 25 years old. In a few years, he grew up to look like the Alfred E. Neuman character from “Mad Magazine” and then, he morphed into Mr. Burns from the “Simpson’s.” Who would understand how this non-Adonis could be so popular with the ladies and gentlemen too?

The Disastrous Honeymoon

Next comes the disastrous honeymoon. Dora was nervous about Donald’s behavior-the anger, hostility, and blame made the honeymoon a disaster. His anger became obvious when Dora’s luggage broke, so she took all her belongings home in garbage bags while Donald berated Dora about “your cheap luggage”.

She did love Grenada that became a hotbed of fear in 1983.

Rebound Marriage and a Premie Baby

Dora was terrified that her choice to marry Donald had gone south, but Donald chose her too? They return to the United States to the apartment with the fixed lock intact. The abuse started escalating. Priscilla admitted that she did not want Donald and Dora to marry. Dora later found out that Donald married Dora on a rebound marriage and that Donald was a premie baby.

“Preterm birth and LBW have also been identified as risk factors for specific psychiatric disorders, namely emotional disorders (2–5attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) (6), and autism spectrum disorders (ASD) (7–10)” stated in “premie baby mental problems” as well as

Brand New Life

In 1977, Dora and Donald moved into their brand new condo. Dora believed she was living with abuse, but Dora was happy because she now had a new beginning. She saw Priscilla and Mauricio all the time. Priscilla, Mauricio, and Donald did not have much to do with Dora’s parents. But, Dora went to Santa Monica to see her parents regularly. Donald never knew that her mother was her confidant. He did not gaslight her well enough not to see her mother. Donald thought that Dora hated her mother. He never found out otherwise.

Mr. Hyde

Donald could be so nice and kind, but seconds later, he was indignant and violent. He ended up being Mr. Hyde quite regularly. He used to say that Dora pushed his buttons which caused this behavior. He told her to keep her distance and only make an appearance during the demands of meals. What should she do? Dora was not understanding the red flags.

Cultivating kindness

Not to Air Dirty Laundry

Dora loved Donald so much so she swept it under the rug as “not to air their dirty” laundry. She almost told Glinda, but Donald fixed that. Dora’s journey continues with Episode 2, “Glinda and Dora”.
