My Hog (Looking for the Blanket Prince)
Lyrics by Taste D. Flabb

This is in answer to Ryan Klemek’s challenge to write lyrics for his mythical pop star’s hit songs. When a song called My Hog needs to be written, as a pig owner, I feel obligated to grab the torch. I’m picturing this as a shitty, auto-tuned number. Perhaps a rap/mild industrial hybrid.
MY HOG
Written and produced by Taste D. Flabb
Chorus:
My Hog, My Hog
I’m looking for the Blanket Prince
My Hog, My Hog
I’m looking for that afternoon kip
Verse 1:
I need a nap, Jack.
And I don’t want to go it alone
If I had my druthers, I’d get underneath the covers
With the heir to the blanket throne.
Verse 2:
He’s in demand in spite of the sand
That he brings to my bed on his nose
Indelicate hooving can cause some bruising
But his cons are much lower than his pros
Chorus:
My Hog, My Hog
I’m looking for the Blanket Prince
My Hog, My Hog
I’m looking for that afternoon kip
Verse 3:
He warms up the sheets in spite of his cleats
And he’ll let you spoon him all afternoon
It’s not hard to convince the porcine prince
He don’t wait for the rising of the moon

Chorus:
My Hog, My Hog
I’m looking for the Blanket Prince
My Hog, My Hog
I’m looking for that afternoon kip
My Hog, My Hog
I’m looking for the Blanket Prince
My Hog, My Hog
I’m looking for that afternoon kip
(chorus repeats and fades out)
