My Delightful Recharge

Happy droplets and carelessly messy

Hand-painted vintage kettle by Monoreena

There are days in shade When you see the sun At a distance, You desire your shoulders To feel the warmth, Want that comfort To travel a little deeper to Touch your heart.

Nebula decorates the Umbrella blue, beauty It lends, but the sun it Hides, Mist-screens, Figures un-defined, Distance Vague, — Is when the rain taps On earth’s keys Tip-Tip-Tip, Tip-Tap-Tip….

Microcosm tunes In to the music Tapping into those Lazy cells — Is how I delightfully Recharge.

After shower sky, Prism droplets, Light spreading hues, Rainbow painting the Vast blue, With my cuppa, Seated in my corner Fumes from my cup rising up, Touching the clouds Yonder, I hold hands with those Vanishing vapour Losing myself to The surrounding peace Eyes closed, I travel To places unknown, A river serene gushes through my cells fatigued, Is when I am delightfully Recharging.

All that muddy with Clay sticking, Fingers penetrate Deep into kneading, Images taking shape From earth, Hands smudged with Paints dripping To see my ideas Shaping, Is when I find my Soul delightfully Re-charging!

The first time I took clay in my hand, I felt peace — a connection with earth so pure. Painting the pieces to perfection was my way to energise. It has slowly graduated into metal & canvas, but my love for earth remains.

My recharging list is incomplete without my poetries.

Messing with earth or messing with words are my ways of delightful recharge. Not to speak of blissful moments stolen from nature.
