How Famous People Can Help Write Your Bio

This is for writers. You might find this short article helpful

Here are MY famous helpers:

Winston Churchill (Daily Express) *** Professor Brian Cox (wikipedia) *** Mahatma Gandhi (janataweekly.org)

BUT YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE FAMOUS TO WRITE YOUR BIO

I’m not famous; I’m Fred: Almost Famous! ‘JUST A LAD FROM OLDHAM’

I found out that my home town of Oldham (A former cotton town in England’s North-west), had connections with several famous people. It gave me an idea: ‘Why not include famous people in my Bio’?

I discovered that Professor Cox (one of my favourite scientists) was also a ‘lad from Oldham’, and that there were other parallels in our professional lives.

Brian says: “Tell your readers about this, Fred”

Fred says:Thanks Brian, but I’ve no idea what K(q”,qiT) etc means! I will however, tell them about you

Brian says: “Thanks Fred”

In my FULL Bio I list many of Professor Cox’s achievements, and contrast them with my own ... an exercise that produced some quite unexpected similarities.

I got to thinking: ‘Why not look for other ‘famous’ connections’ … and I soon came across several more people who had either come from my home town, were celebrities there, or had some historical connection to the town.

Not only Professor Cox, but Winston Churchill, Mahatma Gandhi, Louise Brown, and others, have connections to my home town, and thus by extension, to me.

I also extended this idea of ‘finding famous people’ and looked for people who may not have a home-town connection, but who are experts in their own field and have influenced me and my thinking … All to add to and enrich my Bio.

I then ‘wove them’ all into my FULL Bio so that the FULL Bio ‘comes alive’, being enriched with creative inspiration. It becomes more than a mere CV.
