My Biggest Month On Medium So Far
I set out on an ambitious journey during the month of August to publish an article every day. Though I didn’t hit that target, I managed to pen down 16 articles but the results were surprising. The more I wrote, the more I realized that 3–5 quality articles a week was my sweet spot.
The Numbers For The Month Of August:
- A whopping 6,529 views — the highest I’ve ever witnessed on my Medium profile.

- A surge in my follower count by 174.

I’m excited to share that I made a total of $201.32 during the month of August. The biggest amount that I’ve made so far on the platform.

I have now reached a total of 93 articles now on Medium, all detailing my unique experiences in making money online, the journey has been more enriching than I could have imagined.
My top three earning articles of the month include:
Here are my top three takeaways from this whirlwind month:
1. Find Your Sweet spot: I learned the value of consistent publishing. Not just any content, but unique, quality-driven narratives that stemmed from personal experiences. These stories have compound over time, gradually pulling in more readers who value authenticity. Publishing 3–5 articles a week seems like the magic number for me, striking a balance between quantity and quality.
2. Headlines Matter, but Content is Supreme: Grabbing a reader’s attention is crucial in a platform teeming with stories. A catchy headline does half the job. However, the real challenge lies in delivering value that lives up to that headline. It’s not just about luring readers in but ensuring they leave with something valuable. This balance is what differentiates fleeting success from sustained growth.
3. Engage, Engage, Engage: Medium is not just a platform for writers but a community of readers and writers. Engaging with fellow writers, especially those in your niche, is invaluable. It opens doors to collaborations, insights, feedback, and most importantly, mutual growth. By following and genuinely engaging with them, I’ve found support, camaraderie, and a deeper understanding of my audience.
Final Thoughts
While numbers and growth metrics provide a tangible measure of success, it’s the intangible lessons that truly matter. Every comment, every clap, every new follower — they’ve all taught me something new.
As I brace myself for the final few months of the year, I feel inspired to consistently keep writing on the platform and growing my medium income.
