My 10 Straightforward Answers to Ten Simple Questions
My responses to Linda Ng’s prompts via JF Danskin

Here are my responses to the question prompts from Linda Ng. However, I came across the idea after being tagged in the responses of JF Danskin, included below:
1. What is your favourite drink? Hmm, it depends on if we are talking alcoholic or non-alcoholic. I love Bourbon and usually treat myself to a bottle for Christmas. Non-alcoholic, that would be coffee.
2. What is your favourite colour? Black, it always has been. Yes, I am an ageing Goth.
3. If you won the lottery, what are the top 3 things you’d do first? Assuming a big win. 1. Buy the perfect house for my daughter and me. 2. Get her seen by a private specialist. 3. Help out my family (including a big holiday for us all).
4. What is your favourite cuisine? Hum, this is a tough one. I don’t think I really have one cuisine I favour, but I love a good old-fashioned British dish, including pie and mash, steak and kidney pie, and fish and chips.
5. Would you give up your phone or social media forever? Not my phone, no. I need to be contactable by too many people. Social Media, possibly. I do remember a time before social media (yes, I’m that old), but it would be challenging to promote work and keep up with distant family/friends without it.
6. What is one thing that you’re really good at? Being a sounding board for people. I find people like to talk to me and share their problems. I rarely offer advice as this can backfire, but I have a way of asking the right questions and getting people to the point where they can make decisions independently. I just wish I could do it that as easily for myself.
7. Do you love cats or dogs more? Dogs. I grew up without my own pets by my aunts and nan had dogs, and I loved spending time with them. Since being an adult, there have been very few times when I haven’t had my own dog. I currently have two.
8. Are you a coffee drinker? Absolutely. I don’t drink as much as I used to because of my blood pressure, but I drink at least two mugs daily. No milk, two sugars.
9. What languages can you speak? English and bulls**t. I never managed to master a second language, although I tried. Apparently, being dyslexic makes it more difficult to learn a second language.
10. Can you use chopsticks? Yes, despite having terrible coordination, I can manage chopsticks.
Thanks to Linda Ng and JF Danskin for the challenge.
