This 42nd drabble is written as part of the “100 Story Challenge” by @Zane Dickens.

This experiment was originally done by Grim Flandango. Every day he generates a random word. The word today is TESTIFY.

Angela jolted out of deep sleep early one morning covered in sweat. The day had finally come. It was her turn to testify in court.

The man on trial had done this before, many times. And as nervous as she was, she couldn’t let him get away with it. She’d feel responsible if he did it to even one more person.

She was the first witness called. And when she was asked who was responsible for the heinous action, she stood up and pointed.

“That man, that man right there! He snuck into my house and stole my morning coffee!”
